“Make-Money-Online Websites”—Are they out of your reach? Actually, it may surprise to know that you could be up and running with your own website very quickly, and it could be a website that has the potential to earn you money.
So, how could you get started easily?
1. Set up a free blog. You could get started very quickly by setting up a blog. Some places that will allow you to do this are Blogger.com and WordPress.com. Both of them have templates that you can use. You just have to click on the options and fill in the content. After using them a while, you will learn more and more about how to input that content.
One of the nice things about creating a blog is that you just have to input short posts to keep updating it over time. Search engines like sites that are updated often, so that is an advantage.
2. Develop a free website. The second thing you can do, which is very similar to the first one is to develop a free website. Some of the ones I have had experience with are webs.com and wordpress.org. (Notice that it is WordPress.org not WordPress.com that allows you to set up the website with you in control of the process. WordPress.com is where you can set up a blog, but you have many more restrictions on what you can do.) These can be developed without you having any programming experience. There will be a learning curve, but because of their templates, you can get a good-looking website up fairly quickly. The services that allow you to put up static pages (pages that don’t need to have new content added to them—they just remain “static”) and post pages (pages where you constantly add new content in the form of posts—typical blog pages) are very useful. You can have a website and a blog all combined into one.
Another option for free is Squidoo.com. It took me a little while to get the hang of using Squidoo, but after reading about how others have used it, I was able to get up some fairly good looking webpages. What you make here is called a “lens.” (A lens is simply a one-page website.)
O.K., we have talked about making websites, but how do they become make-money-online websites?
